April 2002 - My manuscript on solar radiative transfer
in
inhomogeneous clouds has been accepted in final form for JAS.
It describes what I believe to be a novel, yet effective new approach
to modeling area-averaged fluxes. The manuscript can be

July 15, 2001 - Two papers have been accepted for
publication in J. Appl. Meteor.The first
describes empirical multichannel microwave signatures of heavy tropical
rainfall. The second
describes a new parametric 1-D model for stratiform rainclouds,
specifically intended for use in microwave radiative transfer modeling.
